My chair and business is located inside Kalon Salon + Extension Bar! The building does have stairs. If you are handicapped we have a handicapped parking spot up front for you to park in and a chair on the main level to accommodate you that can be accessed through the front door!

All other guests— you can park anywhere in the parking lot even the unlabeled spots where there is gravel! Please do not block our neighbors driveway in the back. 

You can come in the door downstairs in the parking lot labeled ENTRANCE. You’ll take the first set of stairs up past the front desk. Then you’ll continue on up the second set of stairs past the shampoo bowl area all the way at the top where we have a waiting area for you to have a seat! 

The salon offers complimentary beverages and snacks. Please feel free to help yourself on your way up to the top level.

Hair extension clients please apply by filling out the hair extensions form and I’ll be in touch within usually 72 hours to schedule your consult. At the in person consult you will learn about all things hair extensions and after you will be sent a quote completely customized to you!

For blondes and lived in color please apply to become a client by filling out the digital consultation form. I will make a plan for you and then reach out to you after reviewing! 

how do i become a client?

No, this is from a time back in the day where hair color was more harsh and people came with dirty hair to prevent it from being over processed. Now hair color brands are much more clean and gentle than they used to be! Please come with clean dry hair! Clean dry hair helps achieve even coloring. If your hair is dirty it has product build up and oils/sebum that makes it harder to achieve even color results. Please come with clean dry hair! All hair extension move ups are done on clean dry hair unless you request a wash and blow dry ahead of time! 

Is it recommended to come to my appointment with dirty hair?

It is best to wait 48 hours to allow the color to settle into the hair shaft and to allow time for the cuticle to close so that your hair color will last longer!

How long should I wait to wash my hair after my color service?

Please text me as soon as you know you’ll be late! I try my best to accommodate the services booked, but if it is more than 15 minutes late you will be asked to modify your services or reschedule if necessary time does not allow. This is to insure that my day goes smoothly making sure I don’t run behind for my next guest. 

What happens if I am running late for my appointment?

I have a 2 week policy. If you don’t love your hair please reach out as soon as possible! My goal is for you to always love your hair, but i understand that sometimes there will be things that need to be tweaked, especially with big transformations. I’m human and I totally understand and love that you can come to me for me to make it just how you want it. Little adjustments that need to be made will be corrected at no charge. An additional service that was not discussed or a huge transformation needing to be redone does not count as tweaking the color and will result in the cost of a full service! Anything past the 2 week mark will be the cost of a full service. 

what happens if i don't like my hair?

This question is an absolute no! The convenience of Amazon is such a wonderful thing. However if you want to protect your hair and the investment you just made in it. The best option is to use professional hair products. Store bought products and Amazon products can be duped and not in a good way. The products look like the one you want except they are usually filled with other harmful ingredients and/or watered down. Make sure to buy your hair products professionally and from a trusted reliable source! I would hate for you to invest in your hair and go with a cheaper product that ends up ruining it. can i buy my hair product off of amazon?

Yes!! Feel free to bring in your laptop and work away. I totally appreciate you wanting to accommodate my hours in the salon and understand you also needing to work! 

can i work during my appointment?

Bring a bunch of inspo photos!! Try to pick photos that resemble your natural hair level.  Most hair goals can be achieved in 1-2 appointments. Sometimes it is necessary to have 3-4 appointments for any big transformations. My goal is always for you to love your hair even in the process while also wanting to keep your hair healthy and lasting long. Whether you come in every 6 weeks, every 4 months, every 6 months or once a year!  

How can I achieve my desired hair goals?

Lived-in hair color is the bees knees. This color can be anywhere from 4 appointments a year, 2 appointments a year or even 1 appointment a year! Think of sun-kissed, blended, low maintenance, easy grow out and oh so beautiful with dimension. 

Blondes it’s up to you! If you like to see a lot of blonde every 6-8 weeks is best. If you like to see more dimension in your blonde hair every 3-4 months is probably your best bet. I don’t recommend going much longer than this because then the cost increases and also your time in the salon will be a much longer appointment time. 

Hair extensions the maintenance is move ups every 6-8 weeks and once or twice a year to replace the hair. The hair extensions I use are ethically sourced human hair. They have a life of up to 6-12months and then they would need to be replaced because with being real hair they do get split ends over time. 

What does the maintenance look like for hair appointments?

Regular maintenance color appointments are anywhere from 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Fine haired clients typically take 2 1/2 hours. 

Big color transformations can take 4 to 4 1/2 hours. 

Hair extensions typically take anywhere from 2 to 5 hours. 

How long will I be in the salon for my appointment?

Yes!! You can add a haircut to any color and hair extension appointment! 

can i get a haircut?

Absolutely!!! I understand life can be a lot and also just knowing that peace and quiet is needed! Your appointment your choice! 

can i have a silent appointment?

24 hours is required to cancel your visit. It’s understandable the need arises to have to cancel or reschedule your visit. However, when you cancel or reschedule without giving enough notice it causes the loss of both time and income. Less than 24 Hours = 50% of scheduled service cost.

Less than 12 Hours = 100% of scheduled service cost.

*A card on file is required, if you do not cancel or reschedule within the allotted time frames, your card will be charged accordingly. We do not accept email cancellations. Rescheduling last minute is the same as canceling last minute.

The salon is all about a fun and welcoming environment! The goal is to make sure that everyone feels safe and comfortable during their appointment. 

For the consideration and safety of everyone, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing pets and children to your appointment. Service animals are welcome! 

If you need to bring your children, they MUST be accompanied by another adult to watch them while your service is provided.
